(Pwn2Own) Microsoft Windows NtUserMessageCall Privilege Escalation Vulnerability
Vulnerability Details
This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on vulnerable installations of Microsoft Windows. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file.
The specific flaw exists within NtUserMessageCall. The issue lies in the handling of boolean arguments. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to raise privileges and execute code under the context of SYSTEM.
