This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on vulnerable installations of Microsoft Internet Explorer. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file.

The specific flaw exists within the Internet Explorer JavaScript engine that allows an attacker to use a pointer for an object that was set earlier as an immediate value without proper checks. An attacker can leverage this situation to execute code under the context of the user running the browser.
