This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on vulnerable installations of Samsung iPOLiS Device Manager. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file.

The specific flaw exists within the XNSSDKDEVICE.XnsSdkDeviceCtrlForIpInstaller.1 ActiveX control. By providing a sufficiently long value to the FindConfigChildeKeyList() method, an attacker can overflow a fixed size stack buffer and execute arbitrary code in the context of the browser.
