This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on vulnerable installations of Hewlett-Packard POS USB Line Display OPOS Drivers. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file.

The specific flaw exists within the Open method in OPOSLineDisplay.ocx. By supplying an overly long string to this method, an attacker can exploit this condition to achieve code execution under the context of the browser process.
