Hewlett-Packard KeyView IDOL HTML Parsing Remote Code Execution Vulnerability

This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on vulnerable installations of Hewlett-Packard KeyView IDOL. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file.

The flaw exists within the handling of HTML files. It is possible to trigger a buffer overflow handling table data within an HTML file. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code under the context of the process.
