VULNERABILITY DETAILS

This vulnerability allows an attacker to leak sensitive information on vulnerable installations of Adobe Acrobat Pro DC. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file.

The specific flaw exists within the ImageConversion plugin. A specially crafted TIFF image with a specific TAGTYPE value can force Adobe Acrobat Pro DC to read memory past the end of an allocated object. An attacker can use this information in conjunction with other vulnerabilities to execute code in the context of the process.
