VULNERABILITY DETAILS


This vulnerability allows an attacker to leak sensitive information on vulnerable installations of Adobe Reader DC. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file.

The specific flaw exists within the handling of JPEG2000 files. The issue lies in the failure to validate the value of the vsep of the last component. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to disclose the contents of adjacent memory.
