Dell Storage Manager EmWebsiteServlet Directory Traversal Information Disclosure Vulnerability

This vulnerability allows remote attackers to disclose sensitive information on vulnerable installations of Dell Storage Manager. Authentication is not required to exploit this vulnerability.

The specific flaw exists within the doGet method of the EmWebsiteServlet class, which listens on TCP port 3033 by default. The issue results from the lack of proper validation of a user-supplied path prior to using it in file operations. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to disclose sensitive information under the context of SYSTEM.
