Microsoft Exchange Server Voicemail Transcription Improper Access Control Remote Code Execution Vulnerability

This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on vulnerable installations of Microsoft Exchange. Authentication is required to exploit this vulnerability.

The specific flaw exists within the conversion of voicemails to text. Due to improper access control, an attacker who has access to a voicemail-enabled Exchange account can install alternative software to be invoked for voicemail transcription. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code under the context of SYSTEM.
