This vulnerability allows remote attackers to disclose sensitive information on vulnerable installations of LAquis SCADA Software. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file.

The specific flaw exists within the processing of the Memory.Double method. The issue results from the lack of proper validation of a user-supplied value prior to dereferencing it as a pointer. An attacker can leverage this in conjunction with other vulnerabilities to execute code in the context of the aq process.
