This vulnerability allows remote attackers to disclose sensitive information on affected installations of Cisco Data Center Network Manager. Although authentication is required to exploit this vulnerability, the existing authentication mechanism can be bypassed. The specific flaw exists within the processing of requests to the rest/auto-config/fabrics/abc/deployments/files endpoint. When parsing the full URL, the process does not properly validate a user-supplied path prior to using it in file operations. An attacker could leverage this vulnerability to disclose stored credentials, leading to further compromise. |
