Adobe Acrobat Pro DC Genuine Software Service Incorrect Permission Assignment Privilege Escalation Vulnerability
Vulnerability Details
This vulnerability allows local attackers to escalate privileges on affected installations of Adobe Genuine Software Service. An attacker must first obtain the ability to execute low-privileged code on the target system in order to exploit this vulnerability.
The specific flaw exists within the handling of SLC files by the Adobe Genuine Software Service. The issue results from the lack of proper permissions on a resource used by the service. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to escalate privileges and execute code in the context of SYSTEM.
