This vulnerability allows remote attackers to disclose sensitive information on affected installations of LAquis SCADA. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file. The specific flaw exists within the implementation of the STRING.READFROMFILE method. The issue results from the lack of proper validation of a user-supplied path prior to using it in file operations. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to disclose information in the context of the current process. |
