Vulnerability Details

This vulnerability allows remote attackers to delete arbitrary files and disclose sensitive information on affected installations of Marvell QConvergeConsole. Authentication is not required to exploit this vulnerability.

The specific flaw exists within the QLogicDownloadImpl class. The issue results from the lack of proper validation of a user-supplied path prior to using it in file operations. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to delete files and disclose information in the context of SYSTEM.

--Mitigation: The vendor no longer supports or recommends this tool. The product has entered End of Life (EOL) and End of Support (EOS) status after v. 5.5.0.85 was released in January 2022
