Microsoft Windows Narrator Braille Support brlapi Exposed Dangerous Function Local Privilege Escalation Vulnerability
Vulnerability Details
This vulnerability allows local attackers to escalate privileges on affected installations of Microsoft Windows. An attacker must first obtain the ability to execute low-privileged code on the target system in order to exploit this vulnerability. Additionally, Braille support for Narrator must be installed.
The specific flaw exists within the brlapi service. The issue results from an exposed dangerous function. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to escalate privileges and execute arbitrary code in the context of SYSTEM.
