Progress Software Kemp LoadMaster apiuser Uninitialized Memory Remote Code Execution Vulnerability
Vulnerability Details
This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations of Progress Software Kemp LoadMaster. Authentication is not required to exploit this vulnerability.
The specific flaw exists within the handling of the apiuser parameter provided to the accessv2 endpoint. The issue results from the lack of proper initialization of memory prior to accessing it. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code in the context of root.
