This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on vulnerable installations of Indusoft Thin Client. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file.

The specific flaw exists within ISSymbol.ocx ActiveX component. The process performs insufficient bounds checking on user-supplied data passed in as the 'InternationalSeparator' parameter which results in a heap overflow. This vulnerability can be leveraged to execute code under the context of the user running the browser.
