VULNERABILITY DETAILS


This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on vulnerable installations of Microsoft Internet Explorer. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file.

The specific flaw exists within the usage of TransNavContext objects after they have been freed. With control of the freed memory, an attacker may leverage specific instructions to modify memory. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to leak information within the current process.
